Eligibility for Advisory Board Membership – ASPHER

The Asian Society for Publication, Higher Education & Research (ASPHER) invites accomplished professionals to join its Advisory Board. This board plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our academic conferences, publications, and research initiatives across Asia and beyond, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, relevance, and impact.

We seek individuals with a strong commitment to academic excellence, research integrity, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Who Can Apply

Applications are welcomed from professionals in the following categories:

  • Academic Leaders : Professors, Deans, and Department Heads with extensive experience in academic administration and research leadership.
  • Experienced Academicians : Associate Professors with at least 6 years of experience in research, teaching, or academic program management.
  • Senior Faculty Members : Assistant Professors with 6+ years of academic experience and noteworthy contributions to their fields.
  • Editorial Professionals : Individuals serving on editorial boards of reputable and peer-reviewed academic journals.
  • Peer Review Experts : Active reviewers for national or international academic journals, conferences, or publishers.
  • Industry Experts : Professionals with 8+ years of experience in industry, particularly those engaged in research-driven or innovation-focused roles and with an interest in academic collaboration.

As a member of the Advisory Board of the Asian Society for Publication, Higher Education & Research (ASPHER), you will play a crucial role in shaping the vision, strategy, and academic standards of our conferences and initiatives.

Your contributions will directly influence the quality of research dissemination, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the overall impact of our academic programs.

Serve as a Keynote Speaker
Advisory Board members may be invited to deliver keynote addresses at ASPHER conferences, offering thought leadership aligned with their domain of expertise and current academic trends.

Support Program Development

Identify and Recommend Experts
Nominate and invite reputed researchers, educators, and professionals to participate as keynote speakers, panelists, or session chairs.
Ensure the inclusion of relevant, current topics and diverse perspectives.

Enhance Speaker and Attendee Engagement
Collaborate with the organizing team to design interactive formats that enhance speaker-participant engagement. Encourage inclusive discussions and opportunities for networking among attendees.

Recommend Keynote Speakers
Assist in identifying and evaluating potential keynote speakers who are recognized leaders in their fields and can contribute meaningfully to the conference objectives.

Monitor Progress and Timelines
Support the coordination of key activities to ensure timelines are met. Provide guidance throughout the planning process and offer feedback where needed. Participate in pre-event reviews and advisory discussions.

Promote and Support Conference Outreach
Collaborate with ASPHER’s communication team to promote events. Assist with outreach efforts such as reviewing publicity content, sharing materials within your network, and increasing awareness of the event.

Support Participation of Local and International Researchers
Encourage participation from academic institutions across different regions. Facilitate opportunities for researchers and scholars to present their work and engage in knowledge exchange. Promote equitable access and interdisciplinary collaboration.
